You might've heard about the pro-freight terminal group Parkside 2010. The following letter is an open admission that Parkside 2010 is really Astral Developments in disguise.

• · Parkside 2010 was created by and is funded by the Parkside developer, Astral Developments: Parkside 2010 is simply funded by the developer for the developer.

• · The Parkside Action Group is funded entirely by donations from residents, Parish Councils, resident groups and businesses who have studied the plans and decided to oppose the Parkside SRFI.

• · Parkside 2010 is pro-SRFI because it is Astral Developments and is only looking out for the interests of Astral Developments, not residents, businesses or any other organisation.

• · The Parkside 2010 Public Relations company, Connect Public Affairs (Connect), is paid for by Astral Developments.

• · It is actually PAG who represent the interests of residents and local businesses and not 2010, which has the vested interests of Astral Developments as a primary objective.

PAG believes that Connect failed to disclose that Parkside 2010 is really Astral Developments in the recent series of Parkside "factsheets" which could mislead residents. PAG is in the process of taking Connect to their regulatory body, the Association of Professional Political Consultants (APPC), to establish some accountability and full disclosure of the real Parkside facts.

If you feel that Connect has failed to fully reveal that Parkside 2010 is really Astral in disguise or that the information in their "factsheets" was misleading, then you need to complain to their regulatory body the Association of Professional Political Consultants (APPC):
